GAF describes TPO as a highly engineered single-ply membrane for low-slope roofs — excellent performance at a cost-effective price. Heat-welded seams provide superior strength versus taped seams. GAF also highlights long-term heat and UV resistance, natural fungal resistance, and inherent flexibility without plasticizers.

Where a full tear-off isn’t the right move, GAF notes that recovering with EverGuard® Fleece-back single-ply TPO can add years to a roof’s life in a fraction of the time and expense of a full reroof — we’ll confirm recover suitability on site.
Based on contractor certification, GAF states an EverGuard® TPO roofing system may come with a guarantee of up to 25 years. Eligibility depends on the system and contractor certification.

EverGuard® PVC
EverGuard® PVC (polyvinyl chloride) single-ply offers tested performance including durability, seam strength, long-term weathering, UV resistance, mold resistance, and increased protection against chemicals compared to many common roofing technologies — as published by GAF.
