Roof Repair & Replacement

Leaks, storm damage, or a roof that’s simply worn out — we inspect for free, explain what’s needed, and repair or replace it right.

What we deliver

  • Honesty first: repair when repair is enough
  • Full replacement when it’s the smarter long-term call
  • Storm documentation available
  • Cleanup and final walkthrough included

Repair vs replace

An honest call — not an upsell script

We’ll show you what we find and recommend the smaller fix when it’s enough.

When repair makes sense

  • Isolated leaks or flashing failures
  • Limited storm damage on an otherwise sound roof
  • Age and remaining life still favor a targeted fix

When replacement is smarter

  • Widespread wear, curling, or granule loss
  • Multiple leak paths or deck concerns
  • Storm damage plus age that won’t outlast a patch

What you get either way

  • Photos and plain-language notes
  • Storm documentation when applicable
  • Cleanup and a final walkthrough

Next step

Schedule a free inspection. If it’s a repair, we scope it tight. If it’s a full roof, we map GAF systems and warranty paths. Curious what North Carolina code requires on a replacement? Read our guide to NC roofing code requirements.

FAQ

Repair & replacement questions

What should I do if my roof is leaking right now?

Move valuables and electronics away from the drip, catch the water, and take photos of the leak for your records. Please don’t climb onto the roof. Call or text (704) 280-5996: our hours are Monday–Friday, 8–5, and for storm emergencies you can call or text and we’ll respond as soon as we can. If there’s an active leak, we’ll talk through temporary protection like a tarp.

What is drip edge, and does my roof need it?

Drip edge is a metal edge piece along the eaves and rakes. It makes water drip off clear of the roof edge instead of running back under it or down the fascia. North Carolina’s residential code amendment says drip edge is not required unless the roof covering manufacturer’s installation instructions require it. Your written estimate will show whether it’s included. See our NC roofing code guide.
